Advanced electronics workshop
At SyRep, we have a specialized and modern workshop for advanced repair of electronics in sewing machines. Here, we perform thorough troubleshooting and component-level repairs – often on control boards and electronics that are otherwise considered "not repairable".
We use precision equipment such as an oscilloscope, signal generator, programmable DC load, and thermal camera to analyze faults under various operating conditions. In addition, we have developed our own test equipment for stress testing repaired electronics, allowing us to verify stable and long-term functionality before the machine is returned.
Repairs are carried out using professional soldering equipment suitable for both older and modern electronics. For sensitive and densely populated circuit boards, we use hot air soldering, and all precision work is performed under a digital inspection microscope with high magnification. This provides full control when working with SMD components and ensures accurate, reliable, and durable repairs – even on complex and densely packed circuit boards.
Development of new electronic boards
Our electronics workshop is also actively used for developing new electronic boards for sewing machines. This particularly applies to boards that are known to be difficult, expensive, or in practice impossible to repair.
Based on experience from troubleshooting and repairs, we develop improved replacement boards with modern and available components, better reliability, and long lifespan. The boards undergo thorough testing under realistic operating conditions before being put into production.
The actual production of the electronic boards is carried out professionally by external manufacturers, according to our specifications and quality requirements. The finished boards are tested and quality-assured before being offered for sale.
These solutions give owners of older sewing machines a real and lasting option where original electronics are no longer available or advisable to repair.
